After the success of the Kirton Inuk, its designer Rob Feloy was asked by paddlers to bring the same originality of design to an expedition sea boat. He did and the result is the C-trek, a stable yet fast expedition sea kayak.
The C-Trek has a large volume carrying capacity, with a maximum total displacement of approximately 180kg. The rockered hull sections and adjustable skeg produce a kayak which is surprisingly manoeuvrable for its size, yet will track well and can be trimmed for neutral cross wind performance. The C-Trek has ample capacity for extended expedition work: Sean Morley, the first paddler to circumnavigate Britain and Ireland, did so in a Kirton C-Trek.
The best way to decide which kayak suits you is to try them out on the water. Click here for details of forthcoming dates or email sales@karitek.co.uk.
