Launched at the Perth show last autumn, the newest product from Kari-Tek is the High Lift version of our popular Easy Load Roof Rack.
The roof rack, which includes a built-in winch, is suitable for most high top vans.
Kari-Tek are pleased to be sponsoring the following paddlers by providing them with Kari-Tek kayak handling kit.
In March 2008, Kari-Tek sponsored sea kayaker Jeff Allen will be setting off on an attempt to circumnavigate Scandinavia.
Starting in Gothenburg, Sweden, Jeff and American paddler Mark Schoon will be kayaking northwards, in an attempt to reach the distant town of Kirkenes, a small Norwegian port which lies close to the Russian border. More than 60% of Norway’s long and exposed coastline lies above the Arctic Circle and this will be just phase one of a two phase expedition to paddle and ski the majority of Scandinavia.
As well as being an incredible adventure, Jeff and Mark hope to raise money and awareness for two charities, Ovarian Cancer Action and the ‘Children’s Hospice South West’ Precious Lives Appeal. From more information, click here to visit Jeff's website.
Team Helly Hansen UK competed in the Adventure World Racing Championships held at Fort William from 26 May to 2 June 07. The team of four trekked, ran, climbed, kayaked, swam and biked together, non-stop for 500km. Kari-Tek were pleased to help the team with this challenge by supplying the Easy Load Roof rack and kayak trolleys. The team paddled SKUK Triton doubles fitted with the Kari-Tek Skeg Rudder System.

Noel Webb kayaked around the UK from May to November 07 to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Noel covered a total distance of 4200km during his 175 day trip. Kari-Tek supplied Noel with a kayak trolley to ease the load when moving his Explorer sea kayak on the beaches and coves around Britain. To reads about the trip and to make a donation, visit his website at www.cfpaddler.co.uk

The Symposium is based at Tregedna Farm, a short walk from Maenporth Beach, and is limited to 25 full board (dormitory style accommodation) and 35 camping attendees. We wish Jeff and Simon every success with this venture in a great part of the UK!
