Standard model (ref: KTS)

The Standard model with 10” wheels is designed to be packed in a stow bag and carried on the deck of your boat or inside your open canoe. Due to its strength and big pneumatic tyres, the Standard trolley has also been used to transport dinghies. The 10” wheels make it particularly good on rough ground and beaches. When folded flat, the trolley fits into its own stow bag made from hard-wearing, water resistant nylon.

Folds flat for stowing

The wheels are easily removed with quick release buckles and repositioned in stowage slots allowing the trolley to fold flat. The Standard trolley is then slid into its stow bag and secured to the kayak deck. Click to buy online.

“...brilliant, thanks”

“ We’ve just used our standard trolley to get direct access to Loch Dunalastair— impossible without a trolley— and to the Tyne estuary. It saved a long carry-in and was easy to use - brilliant, thanks.”

Compact model (ref: KTC)

The Compact model has 8” wheels which means it’s not quite so good on some types of ground, but it has the advantage of being able to be stowed inside your boat. Complete with stow bag.

Fits in cockpit footwell

The Compact trolley also folds flat by removing the wheels and slotting them into their stowage slots. The folded trolley is then inserted inside the footwell of the kayak’s cockpit. It was originally designed for Nigel Dennis kayaks but fits many other brands of kayaks too.

When stowed inside the footwell, the trolley saddle forms a surface to rest or brace your feet against. The Compact trolley, placed in its stow bag, also fits inside most 10” hatches. Click to buy online.
